This is nearly a dead ringer for my Boss Dr. Beat DB-88 with the addition that the app can store scenes.

Its been easy to use and great while teaching guitar lessons and needing to have a tempo handy during a live performance that I can see without hearing it. I can mute it and just put it in a mode where it flashes.

Someone complained about the lack of updates, but its worked fine - and hasnt needed any updates in my mind. I even use it on my iPad2.

It works in the background (a good thing) - so you do need to remember to stop it!
