Best metronome app. Some function I have never seen elsewhere. Great to work!

Very nice metronome, but please add a feature that you can switch off the display to save battery life!

Update 3.1: Awesome! This version finally allows you to turn off the screen while continuing to listen to the metronom. Saves you a lot of your battery. Thanks a lot Seishu! I find this a bit expensive but since you now can use it with the screen turned off I think its the best metronome you can get for the iPhone atm. Original Review: Although I applaud the recent updates (v 2.0. & 3.0) and the great improvements that came with them my main hang-up still isnt fixed. What has been bothering me since the first version, is the fact, that the display cant be turned off, while the metronom is running. That means your battery will run dry quite fast. Please fix this! Cant be too hard: Similar Apps (Tempo 1, Tempo 2 e.g.) already implemented this functionality. And could you please make the Tempo Up/Down buttons more responsive? Sometimes not very responsive. And add the functionality to move up/down the Tempo in steps of 10 for faster Tempo changing. Positive - pendular-metronom (3.0) (this is extremely helpful and I use it to practice with sound turned off, try it and check your timing!) - Setlist-feature - Landscape-mode included (3.0) Suggestions - add possibility to turn of screen - Tempo up/down in Steps of 10 - increase the size of the responsible area for the tempo up/down buttons, to make them more responsive (only for the normal view, landscape is fine of course) Besides that: Keep up the great work.

Since the last update this has become my favorite metronome app. You can finely adjust the volume of any subdivision of the beat, there is a variable swingfactor for eighth notes and sixteenth notes and you can gradually increase or decrease the tempo (or both sequentially). Great Metronome!

Im missing the old design thats not so dark. Also theres a bug in the quiet counting section, where its only possible to quiet count 8 Bars and nothing else. Also the navigation got really worse. Please cancel the update, it isnt gotten better!

I highly recommend this metronome. You can practice with increasing or decreasing automatic tempo, great for practicing techniques!

I like all the features in this metronome. The automatic tempo slope and timer are great for practice sessions. While confusing at first, there are great options for setting subdivisions. I do wish there was a different mode with a large visual or even vibrating pulses for perfomance. And the interface on the main page is full of frustratingly small touch buttons that be tough to activate. And the price is a little high. But overall really good.

This is the best metronome in the app store so far. Most, you will find, skip on the first beat and drag the triplets. Save yourself the time and get this one, you will be happy.

Simply the best, dont hesitate this tool is a must for musicians.

But this app would be great if it had inter-app audio and Audiobus support.

The metronome options are limitless and I even have the desktop version. Amateur or professional, youve got to get this app. It even comes with a timer so you can have organized training sessions. I use it for singing and the bass and the guitar. Finally great samples are included too!

You can control many parameters and slow down until 10 bpm!!! Little expensive but does great job!

Nice coaching functions with gradual and programmable up/down. I dont understand the difference between "gradual" and "step" up/down. If I set the same values in both the features the behaviour is exactly the same. I bug: if the metronome is open in background and you play an iPod song then, when you come back to the metronome, it doesnt play any more. You have to restart dr. Bettotte

Okay, I know this app seems expensive at around $10... Trust me, its worth every penny and more! Its the only app I have found that emulates the boss db-90, but much better. The developer is quick to respond to emails as well. The only wish I have for the app is a slightly larger start/stop button and compatibility with the Airturn Bluetooth pedals. Regardless, this is a must have! I play drums for one of the largest churches in the US, as well as being a session drummer with many bands in the Houston area and I use a click a lot. Trust me Ive tried them all and this is the one!!!

I bought this app over 5 years and two iPhones ago. As a drummer there simply isnt a better metronome iPhone app out there. The continued support of the developer and all of its features make this well worth every penny.

Have tried all metronomes and this one is the best hands down

this is by far the best metronome app ive downloaded, and its well worth the $10. i own a 1st gen iPod Touch and the app works just fine. only complaint i have is that i wish the tap button was a bit bigger, but its an awesome application nonetheless.

This is the metronome application that I have been looking for. I am a drummer and it has the features that I need. I have used this in a live situation to kick off songs and it worked perfectly. I am more than happy with what this application can do. I have two requests for future updates. 1)I use the list feature as a song list. Please make the list so it can be ordered. Currently I am only able to add or delete from the list. This way I can add a new song title and move it up or down in the set list. 2)I leave the metronome in silent mode and use the visual numbered count as my count off. If a simulated flash could be added, it would be easier to see the tempo with the sound off. Thanks again for a terrific application.
